The brakelining materials are normally a mix of composites mixed with various types of heat resistant minerals and mixed with various mineral compounds. The desired shape to the friction material is given by pressing such composites, already mixed with powder resins, in the hot presses. The major user of such material is Automobile industries and the material handling equipments industries which uses such material as brake liners, which help in braking of any moving machine or equipment. In clutch facing industries also such resins are used. These resins are made with various types of modification of P.F.Resins, with modifiers like natural rubber, latex, Cardanol, Epoxy, and various natural oils.
