TOPCOAT - SFG
ONE PACK PU SYSTEM
DATA SHEET & METHOD OF USE
This is a chemical and heat resistance material, up to a
temperature of 180°C, suitable for application by brush or spray. It is an
excellent coating for corrosion resistance, insulation & damp walls etc. Coating
achieved with this PU is externally hard and is resistance t oil, alkali,
alcohol, salt, water, sulphuric acid solution up to 30% concentration level (24
hours).
It is strongly recommended for coastal areas, where the
humidity levels are very high and some times, it goes up to 90-95% and no other
coating takes the grip, because of invisible salt deposit on the structures.
This coating will protect the structures, steels and equipments in Oil
Refineries, Solvent Chemical Industries and Onshore structures, which are
subjected to severe saline conditions and where the problem is proper drying and
curing of the polymer, after being coated.
This coating is resistance to Aggressive corrosion. though
micron build up is between 15-25 microns. Depending on the base surface and the
spraying conditions, this coating dries in presence of moisture and attains
strength.
