An Air Drying Electrical Application Varnish

Product Description

Insultop No. 1 is an air drying electrical application varnish for Class - E insulation up to the surface temperature of 120°C. to protect electrical machines and appliances against attack of Chemicals and moisture. it is based on phenolic Resins and very fast drying in nature. It cures, because of a cross-linking reaction under oxidizing conditions. it gives tough, flexible and anti-tracking film, which conforms to IS 10026 - 1993.

Application Areas

It is a finishing varnish for electrical parts, motors, circuit boards, stampings and for impregnation of small motors during repairing and rewinding.

It can be applied by brushing, dipping or spraying and can also be stoved

Safety Measures

Insultop No.1 is a flammable liquid. So, dry chemical powder or CO2 or foam is to be used in case of fire and hand-gloves and safety appliances should be used while handling the product. In case of contact, the affected area should be washed with soap and plenty of water.
