WHAT IS BANDAGE SYSTEMNormally, the Cracks in the Roofs or Sheets are filled up with Putty, which does not go inside. Some times, we also try to fill the Cracks with the Cement Slurry. SRL has come out with a system, where Polyester cloth is cut into 6" to 12" width and as per the required length to cover up the Cracks. This cloth is dipped in either BLACK COAT or WHITE KNIGHT, as per the requirement at the site and pasted on the top of the Cracks. After 24 hours, another coat of BLACK COAT or WHITE KNIGHT is given on the top of the Bandage to seal the Cracks completely and for better grip of cloth to surface. However, if the Cracks are more than 3mm., then it is advisable to fill the gap with the Cement Sand Mixture, added with our CARBOBOND - 401 & apply SRL Bandage System. SRL BANDAGE SYSTEM (FOR METALS)The areas of severe corrosion like, cold storage pipes and pipes dipped under earth may use SRL Bandage system. Under this system, one coat of our Class - I coating is applied and on the coating, Aluminum foils/ Polyester Cloth are wrapped. Subsequently, one coat of any of the Class-I coating may be given and further two coats of TOPCOAT - 4045 is applied to make it a most sound corrosion resistance system. TWO PLUS TWO SYSTEMOur Two plus Two system is very good for the seaworthy areas, where, heavy corrosion are there. After cleaning the metal surface, two coats of our Class - I or Class - II coatings are applied and after those coatings, another two coats of TOPCOAT - 4045 are given. This system has proved better than Epoxy system, because of so many advantages over Epoxy, like high temperature resistance, again properties and better flexibility etc. |
