WHITE KNIGHT

White Knight Product Family FAQ Comparison Statement

An excellent Roof coating material, which has dual purpose. It radiates heat up to 70% and avoids water seepage on the roof, enhancing the life of the roof. Two coats of this material will give a life of at least 3 years and you can avoid using age-old conventional Tar felting, which is a very cumbersome process & also not environmental friendly. This can withstand Pounding waters also. White knight is a high-grade plastic based single component protective waterproof coating specially developed for roofs, terraces and external walls for protection against water, corrosion and salt petre.

PRIMARY USES

White Knight is used effectively for arresting leakage through:

01)  Reinforced Cement Concrete Terrace

02)  Reinforced Cement Concrete Roof.

03)  Cast Iron, Asbestos or stone ware pipes.

04)  Asbestos Roofs & GI Sheets.

It can also be used effectively against rising damp.

ADVANTAGES

01)  Very economical & easy to use.

02)  Excellent adhesion properties

03)  Highly flexible & accommodates minor deflections & movements of the Structures.

04)  Very good abrasion resistance, therefore allowing free foot traffic on the roof.

05)  Resistant to dilute acid and alkalis.

06)  Resists fungus and moss growth.

07)  High breathing ability – allows trapped water vapours to escape thereby preventing blistering & adhesion failure.

08)  Unaffected by Ultra violet light.

09)  Non-toxic.

10)  Compatible with existing coatings of Bitumen or Tar felting etc.

 DIRECTION FOR USE

Surface preparation is the most important step before application of this coating. Surface should be cleaned with a Wire brush. The surface must be dry and it must be free from dirt, paint, oil, grease, fungus etc. Minor cracks may be v-grooved and filled with White Knight Putty. Two coats should be applied perpendicular to each other. Subsequent coat should be applied after the first coat is touching dry. Do not apply on wet surface.

 ACTION

This single component liquid when applied on dry concrete/plastic surface forms a flexible film, which has excellent adhesion to the applied surface. The film is waterproof and resistant to various weather conditions.
