This is a newly developed Hybrid Acrylic Coating from SRL. This coating is a Ceramic loaded and Titanium filled water base coating with the added strength of Acrylics. This coating has excellent adhesion on all types of surfaces, like concrete, wood, nonferrous metals, plastics and this has got properties of Fungal Resistance and Algal Resistance.

This coating is designed to withstand in any weather condition of high rain fall, heat and humidity. This coating will last very long and has also got the properties of ultraviolet Resistance and it will not peel or crack for years.

1 Areas of use : Concrete all types and Asbestos.
2 Thinner : Ordinary drinking water
3 Consistency : Smooth
4 Thinning Ratio (by volume) : 1:1 for the Primer coat(1st coat) and 1:0.6 for the second coat.
5 Method of Application : By Brush/Roller/Spray
6 Coverage : 120±10 sq. ft. per kg. in two coats.
7 Touch Dry : 30 minutes
8 Complete Dry : 24 hours
9 Recoating period (Temp.30șC, Relative humidity : 60-65%) : 4-6 hours
10 Finish : Smooth
11 Shades : White and other shades and it is also tin table.
12 packing : In 1.5 kgs., 5 kgs. & 30 kgs. Plastic containers.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Surface preparation is one of the most important ingredients to get a good coating and without a proper surface preparation, no coating will withstand its performance guarantee. In any newly plastered building, atleast 6 months should be allowed before painting it and surface is to be cleaned, so as to remove all the Fungus and Algi growth as well as any loose particles on the surface. Anywhere, there is a chance of water accumulation, 2-3 coats should be given to avoid water seepage.

Before coating any surface, which was oil painted earlier, complete cleaning should be made to make it matt and similar exercise should be done, if the surface was made earlier with cement paint. It is preferable for application of this coating during sun-shine and not in rainy season. All gaps must be filled up with cement sand and not with putty, specially on the exterior walls.

APPLICATION

As stated above, this coating should be first applied by thinning down in the ratio of 1:1 by volume and this coat should be coat should be used as Primer and above this, the finishing coat should be given in the ratio of 1:0.6 dilution, with water, by volume.

PRECAUTIONS

If over thinning of material is done, then it will not give proper results. If instructions are properly followed, then this coating may be proved to be the most economical and performance oriented.

SAFETY INFORMATION

This coating is not Fire hazard. But, precaution should be taken by wearing protective clothing like overall, gloves and goggles to protect the eyes.
